Upcoming Workshops
Girls' Gathering Ground
Helping Teens Better Manage Stress and Anxiety
This February, by popular demand, we are running another 4-week workshop just for girls aged 11-17! This 4-week "Girls' Gathering Ground" workshop will offer girls a safe, calm and warm environment in which to learn how to reduce stress and anxiety in their lives. In this workshop, they will:
Trish holds a degree in Sociology and has been a Certified Life Coach focusing on health and wellness for over 15 years. She is also a certified yoga instructor and practitioner of over 23 years. Andrea has worked for the TDSB for over 26 years focusing primarily on at-risk youth from Kindergarten to grade 8.
According to a 2011 mental health census involving over 100,000 students in the TDSB, over 70% of teens reported feeling sad, worried and concerned about their future. And this was long before COVID and its detrimental impact on everyone's mental health.
This inspired workshop couldn't therefore come at a better time. We hope you'll encourage your girls and their friends to attend, so we can help them better manage stress and learn essential and effective tools for finding calm and happiness in their lives.
Dates: Thursdays 4:15-5:15pm
February 12, 19, 26 and March 5
Cost: $150
