Leslie's retreats are expertly designed to enable you to deeply relax, heal and re-energize, restoring and nourishing you on every level. Escape with us to the stunning Locanda del Gallo, nestled atop a spectacular ridge amid the Umbrian mountains in Italy.

Throughout your indulgent 7-night stay, Leslie will gently and progressively guide you to a deep sense of calm through daily meditation classes, all-level yoga classes, workshops on Yoga Philosophy and Restorative Yoga, as well as her signature Restorative Yoga with Massage sessions. 

Leslie’s renowned Restorative Yoga with Massage class is the ultimate in relaxation. Enjoy soothing music, candlelight, and massage while you are draped in a cozy blanket and relaxing deeply in fully supported restorative yoga poses. This class will be done at separate times in small groups, ensuring maximum personal attention for everyone. And Locanda del Gallo's masseuse will be on-hand throughout the retreat for private massages, if you wish to pamper yourself even further.

Meanwhile, enjoy the best in luxurious accommodations, as well as sumptuous Italian food that will delight and nourish you beyond all expectations. An on-site regional Italian cooking class one day and a delightful excursion into neighbouring Gubbio another day for sightseeing, market shopping and a winery tour are available to indulge in as well. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and all activities are optional, so that you can custom tailor this retreat to be the experience you need most in that moment for your healing and wellbeing.

Explore the picturesque, verdant mountain paths by foot or by mountain bike, relax in the outdoor jacuzzi hot tub, swim in the chlorine-free infinity pool, laze in a hammock overlooking the incredible views, revitalize in the Turkish steam bath followed by a dip in cool, mint-scented waters, book a treatment with the private massage therapist, or sleep-in to catch up on your rest – this time is truly a gift to yourself.

The Venue

Locanda del Gallo is a 17th century country estate set atop a mountain ridge in the Umbrian hills, with stunning views in every direction. Warm hospitality, excellent food, tranquility and charm – this is rustic Italy at its best. It is one of those truly special places that leaves an indelible impression in one's heart and soul.

​This boutique country estate is magnificently situated in exquisite seclusion and peace, very much off the beaten path, and yet close enough to nearby towns to easily explore. It is an ancient place full of charm and authenticity that has been lovingly restored over 30 years by its resident owners, Paola and Irish. You'll find it a very luxurious and beautiful home away from home, where you're treated with a special heartfelt level of hospitality.

The Locanda’s facilities have so much to offer for retreat and relaxation. There’s a spectacular salt-water infinity pool, outdoor jaccuzzi hot tub; a beautiful Moorish-style spa with Hammam, and massages are available. A spacious, secluded yoga shala with views over the valley invites us to our yoga practice, and quiet paths and trails for walking surround the Locanda await your exploration . The estate expands over 28 hectares of gardens, meadows, pools, olive groves and woods, with trails and backcountry roads to walk and bike - one leading to a nearby waterfall you're free to take a dip in.

Accommodation

​The serene rooms are all unique, elegant and comfortable. Every part of the Locanda is beautifully furnished with pieces from the owners’ many travels.

There  is a variety of accommodation types available, include single rooms to share between 2 and 3 people, and suites with two separate rooms and a sitting area. that accommodate 3-4 people. All rooms and suites have private 3 or 4-piece bathrooms, and some have direct access to an outdoor patio.

Accommodation is shared, and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early for the most choice and flexibility.

Shared Accommodation: $5540 CAN + HST per Person

What's Included

 - 7 nights accommodation
- All delicious and bountiful meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus afternoon tea), plus a glass of regional wine with dinners
- All yoga and meditation classes,  workshops and talks, a special restorative yoga and massage session, and all props needed for them
- An on-site regional cooking class with a private chef 
​- Excursion to Gubbio on market day with wine-tour, tasting and antipasto
- Exclusive use of the grounds, amenities and facilities that Locanda del Gallo has to offer

- Airfare and transportation to and from the airport (we will organize a shuttle to and from the Rome  airport, cost to be shared by those that wish to join)

Registration Details

The fee is broken up into two portions: $1500 + HST deposit for the yoga and meditation services provided by Leslie, and the remainder for the accommodation, food and excursions. The first part is paid directly to Yoga Grove, and is due upon registration. The remainder is paid directly to our travel agent, Matthew Berriman (TICO #50008079 - contact details below), and is due in two parts:

• half of the balance is due on December 13, 2025
• the remainder is due on March 13, 2026
  

Payments are non-refundable once paid. Please read our terms and conditions and cancellation policy below carefully and purchase appropriate insurance to secure peace of mind in the unfortunate and unforeseen event that you need to cancel for any reason.

Your registration is complete once you both fill out the Registration Form below and we receive your initial deposit. The deposit can be paid with a credit card using the payment button below, or you may e-transfer your payment to [email protected], password Italy.
